Hello everyone!! Im new to the forum, but not a novice bike rider. I am however new to these awesome choppers. I just bought one of my one but the wiring is totally screwed, so does anyone have a wiring schematic beginning from the key/ignition to the brake light, etc. Im honored to be a part of this unique group of americans. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :?:

Welcome. I am going to move you post up to the street bikes forum. I think you will get more help there.

I know we have some schematics floating around. Also to help narrow down the right one give us some more info on the bike itself.

hahaha!! my apologies on the "americans" statement. I mean its an honor to be a part of this group of elite americans and bad-ass Texans!!!! hahaha. I use to be stationed at Fort Hood, TX. I loved it.

Now for the original subject; I own one of the 200cc choppers. I think its been called a "dragon chopper" before. but as I mentioned the wiring is a mess, however the rest of the motorcycle is perfect. Im truly grateful for all of the help. thanks gentlemen.

Well, since we seem to be pretty much an international site. I am a Iowan stuck in Georgia.

On too the schematic. I don't have one handy, but someone will post one up soon.

I know I just saw one for a dual sport I believe.

Awesome!! Thats my bike. Thanks Allen for all the help and hard work, I truly appreciate it. Also, coincidentaly Im originally from Iowa. I was born in Leon, IA and grew up in Osceola which is apprx 45 miles south of Des Moines. My parents still own Swansons Insurance Agency in Osceola, Des Moines, and in Centerville, IA. WOW! Thats awesome, its a small world. Its a pleasure to meet a fellow Iowan.

Hey Spud, its a pleasure as well to meet you and you have my word that I'll post some pics of my bike right now.

Once again everyone thank you very much for all of your help, hopefully in the futrue I can repay everyone with some advice or experience to a question or request.

Welcome swanny191145! I've always been intrigued by those bikes. Are you able to ride one of those on the street in your State? It's simply not allowed where I live. Wicked rake on the front end!

BTW, I'm a former Albertan who emigrated to British Columbia. I'm not in the U.S., but I only live about 30 blocks from the Washington State border.

Thanks Weldangrind im honored to meet you. As for my chopper, yeah I ride it on the streets here in southern Arizona. The cops really dont enforce the laws much when dealing with these choppers. Theyre actually so impressed and intrigued that we usaully just converse over how bad ass it looks.

Im actually having troubles posting some pics on the picture upload page so I'll probably finish posting my chopper pics tomorrow. Thanks ya' all.

Those are some of the nicest family photos I've ever seen.

Dual exhaust on a 200 single? What will the Chinese do next?

Thank you for the compliments. My family has been extremely supportive throughout my recent return from a 15 month deployment in Iraq and my transition back into society. I honestly believe that riding the variety of motorcycles is helping with my re-integration.

My son is still a fan of the "crotch-rockets", but I think I can change his mind to appreciate the chopper style or a dirt-bike.

Thank you for your service. Great pics. Is that a car tire on the rear?

My brother lives in Pella near your parents. We are Dutch. (Cheap)

Damn Pella is only like one county south east of Ames County, (Des Moines) and a couple counties north east of Osceola, (Clarke County). Thats awesome. Pella Windows. Atleast Iowa is known for more than just the corn, soy beans and hog confinements scattered all throughout the state. :) Doesnt Pella have one of the largest like tulip or petunia flower festivals in the midwest? I think when I was younger my family and I saw Wyatt Earps home in Pella. Maybe Im thinking of John Waynes childhood home in Wintersett, IA.

Thank you for your patriotism and support as well.

Yes it is an actual car tire on there. Great attention to detail. The original chopper tire that was on there had one hell of a hole in it, but pricing an exact replacement and then an alternative, (car tire) I was going to get more with the car tire for my money. It took a little bit of modifying but it proved to be worth it.

Yes, Wyatt Earp's home is in Pella. Also Tulip Time is the first week of May every year. Thousands of people around. I worked in the bakery a couple years. Owned by family. All Dutch pastries.

I don't miss the hog confinements.

HAHAHAHA!!! Wow I'm still laughing at the low tire comment! Thats friggin hilarious. Thanks for the laugh Weldangrind. Thank you as well MicRider. Im sure you can agree that we can never have "to many" toys. Hey Spud, thanks brother for your support. Its truly a great feeling to know that there is so much more support for our military branches than the media portrays.

Have you all ever seen a German Shephard/Southern Arizona wolf mix? Its kind of a strange question I was just curious to know if anyone had ever seen one or know roughly the full grown size and weight he'll actually get. My wife bought me him last year from a breeder while I was still in Iraq as a suprise for when I got home. Hes still a puppy but he weighs damn near 75 pounds. I just cant find much on line about this mix.

Anyways you all have a great weekend and its a true pleasure to be a part of this online community. Thanks.

I've heard that domestic dog / wild dog breeding is more common than we realize, but I don't know much about the topic.

That dog has amazing eyes, but otherwise looks just like a Shephard.

Yeah he is quite the protector for my children, and he is extremely loyal to me. I just know that he is already larger than most adult German Shephard's that are at the dog park we take him to and hes still a puppy.

Never believe the news media, Sean; they are a bunch of liars. :( Have you seen the movie, Taking Chance? If not, I strongly encourage you to rent it, and watch it with your beautiful family. :)

I also strongly encourage all of my fellow China Riders to watch this touching film. After you've seen the movie, read the following essay.

As always, Sean, thank you for the great photographs! :D I am quite confident your 75-pound "puppy" will provide excellent security for your home! ;) :D We are so very pleased you came home safely, and joined us at these forums. :D

Seriously, you are all amazing patriots. I cant express enough how truly honored I am to have met you all.

And for the movie "Taking Chance", yes I have seen it and it is a very well written accurate movie. Theres a documentary from HBO called "Section 60, Arlington National Cemetary". I couldnt finish watching it. 17 of my fellow infantryman lost their lives throughout 14 months of combat ending late last year. I stood over 12 of them and watched 2 of them take their last breaths right in front of me. It is a true feeling of helplessness that I dont ever want to experience again. Its the raw side of reality that most of society will never see, which is a good thing. I think that if all of society would see what I have experienced it would make for a shitty world. The documentary allows you to see the family's pain and suffering after the soldier is buried and theyre left to sort out the confusion of their loss. Well brothers, Im calling it a night so I'll talk to you all tomorrow.

Sean
