I haven't really been on Gio's site too much lately, but the last time I was on I saw these http://www.giobikes.com/Auction/76396/Brand-New-2-Stroke-49cc-Pocket-ATV-Quad/
Ever hear of a pocket quad before? Looks kind of cool, but obviously would just be for the novelty of it. Anyone here got one? Too bad they don't have a video of it!

I've seen a lot of people ditching those things, and the pocket bikes, on CL saying they ran for 15 minutes then puked.

As you say, a novelty item, not sure what you would do with it to be honest.

I have had one. They look cool, but arent that great...
pretty fun on the road but they are so loud!
Dont even attempt to drive one on anything but pavement, it will be so loud but you will go no where, that is unless you are a 50lb child...

Yup, I figured as much... I know the pocket bikes were a big thing around here for a while then kinda faded out... A novelty but no real practical use. Kind of cool all the stuff they have out these days though... :)

I had two pocket bikes with the same engine. Loud is right 8O . It's like sitting on a chainsaw. Plus, even with all my Chinabike knowledge they were tough to keep both running at the same time. They were fun for a season. I sold them for more than I'd paid for them, but they were not running when I bought them and were when they were sold 8) .

Decent power at high RPMs, but with no gears or torque converter I'd consider the powerplant compleatly unsuitable for off road use.

JMHO. :D

One of my neighbors bought some for his kids for Christmas. Seemed like he spent about 1 hour fixing for 10 minutes of riding. The little dirt bikes worked good. They had a simpler design and ran well. The street version gave him fits.

Sounded like 3 chainsaws circling the neighborhood though.

I agree, when they are not revved up they sound like crap, i plan on putting a larger rear gear on my GIO 49cc dirt bike to help keep the revs up, also a NGK BM6A spark plug will replace the crap stocker and i've been having better starts and overall better running with premium fuel and Lucas smokeless semi-synthetic oil.
