You mean, from the top of the slider???? That's where the fork seal is. You'll have to install new fork seals, if so. Level is really important, too. If you over fill the fork with fluid, you will blow the seal. Also, there could be a dent or a ding in the tube where the slider rides that lets it dribble. Or, if it's bent and kinked a little, it won't seal. Probably just a defective seal, though. What size is the fork tube, the part that's clamped in the triple clamps? You'll probably need to measure it with a caliper in millimeters. If you know the ID and OD of the seal, should be pretty easy to find a Honda or Yamaha part to interchange. Leak Proof is an aftermarket seal company you could contact. They'll wanna know the thickness of the seal, too.

If you mean from the top of the slider it may simply be dirt in the seal. Try a piece of old camera film and slide it into the seal and work it around some. This should clear the dirt if that is in fact the problem.

One thing you can do to keep dirt out of the seal is put a piece of cloth inside the rubber cap that goes over the top of the slider. It also absorbs any small seepage out of the seal on those tall jumps.
