I took my motorcycle safety course on a borrowed Hyosung GT250. It's not as sharp looking as the GT250R, but it has power! I couldn't believe it was only a 250cc! It had wicked torque, and launched like a rocket. If I didn't know it was a 250, I would have guessed it was the GT650. For less $$ than the Ninja 250, its a great bike. Unfortuanately, it is more than I can afford. Is there any low price China made 250cc bike that has suprising "get-up-and-go"?

I don't think any will compare.

If you like the 250 look for a used ninja 250.

They are nice bikes, but they're still too expensive.

I agree. I, also, don't think they will hold their value like a Ninja once they get a few years old.

I also like the Hyosung GT250. :) However, I am surprised the Hyosung is priced so high relative to the Nina 250R, which is a superior motorcycle. Nevertheless, Hyosung frequently offers big discounts on their motorcycles. :) If you like the GT250, watch the Hyosung website for cash-saving promotions. ;)

I know what you mean. I saw a video clip of experts comparing the 2009 Hyosung GT250R to the 2009 Ninja 250R on the highway and in town traffic. Overall the GT250R wasn't too bad, but it had a few flaws. They said the Ninja was superior, and for just $200 more, it is the better buy. Now, the 2010 Hyosung GT250R is the same price as the Ninja 250R! I think the only reason someone would buy a Hyosung over a Kawasaki for the same price, is if they like the styling better, or they just want to be different.

I saw a video clip of the experts compared the Hyosung GT250R 2009. It is related to so many videos of the road and traffic conditions. In general, the GT250R not so bad, but it has some bugs.
