Too wierd for me. Whole lota brakes up front! looks like a cross between a scooter, enduro, and sport bike all in one! Maybe could use a small fairing up front.

I have trouble with the radiator and seeing the reservoir.

It does come fully faired and looks alot like the Roketa/Jinlun.

I think Yingang is a Chinese export company and its import side was SUNL in the US and they filed for bankrupcy in April, SUNL Holding. But the YingangUSA site is using the same phone number as a contact number.

I really struggle to think they have any dealers, has anyone seen any of these anywhere?

That bike pretty much looks like what any faired racing bike would looks like if you take the fairing off.

That last pic looks like the front wheel is off center or the fairing is not even. I even ligned up a piece of paper on my monitor it it does appear to be quite abit off.

I think I'm a little too critical this morning-- sorry about that.

I am also not crazy about the hockey stick frames, it would look better half faired I like the round read light and gauges.

They have really odd product on their website, those products were on SUNL site and with other odd products like the Kung FU 250.

But SUNL is no more

Now it’s YINGANG
http://www.yingangusa.com/

That’s the engine they think will get them in the market, its the same engine that’s on the Shineray bikes.
Willing to offer a two year warranty…but the dealer will not take that bike on, they will react just like you did. Very few people will buy a Chinese water cooled bike unless it is really low cost.

Maybe I am wrong? Its happened before.

I think if it was on the dealer floor for $2,500.00 or less then maybe….. But then they cannot get that bike in a showroom, not in this market….LOL they may have, collectively that is, satisfied the low cost starter market for the next five years?

Did you heard that Baja and Pep Boys have to send back 1300 bikes or destroy them? Not EPA/DOT compliant. OUCH and ordered to pay $5M in fines. But Baja only has to pay $25,000.00 due to their financial situation.

Maybe something like this?

It's not working out for them here, or am I wrong are there any 250cc water cooled bike on the road? Will racer and the Megelli be the first?
LOL

I know I need to stop.....or get more serious or realistic?

I am not sure what it is, something is just not right and I feel the need to fix it?

no need to apologize some of the stuff is cock-eyed.

But these people are really trying and to no avail as far as I can tell. Seriously they really think that they can sell these bikes in the US and for 25% less then a comparable Japanese bike. I think no not until they are proven it should be 50% of the price of the Japanse bikes and with twice the warranty.

They will take everything said to heart, then eventually I can sense their perverbial heads pop off.

I really think it's rooted in dealers, the dealers are really anti-chinese.

I am looking at some of the trade schools that train mechanic, I am thinking maybe they should get in with those and set up some of there own dealer with their own trained mechanic.

Sino Super stores, in the bigger markets. The problem is all the little tyrants cutting each other throats.

Just VIN numbers and build ID numbers, with totally tracked reliablity metrics.

The problem is that there really is not that much demand for starters or motorcyles in general. But in china and the rest of the world there is, the advantage of one big distributer selling all the brands is that it allows for variety.

They could offer testing services and documantaion services and service centers with standard pricing. We need Warren Buffet!

The RED Motorcycle is manufactured by Dongben Motorcycles.

Its actually being marketed as a 300cc water cooled, but is only 272cc

Here is a link to the engine on it.
http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/280905494/DONGBEN_300CC_MOTORCYCLE_ENGINE.html

They are rating it as around 20hp and it is on this spec sheet only a DOHC with 2 valves.

I like that motorcycle, I like that it has 20hp and has more torgue and all at lower rpms. The bike should be imported, all these should be they need to be ridden to see how well they hold together.

Here is a 250cc Bore 70 Stroke 65, this engine is said to be a 4-valve engine. Rated at 25hp and the same as the YINGANG.

http://dongben.en.alibaba.com/product/280895012-50355093/DONGBEN_MOTORCYCLE_ENGINE.html

The 272cc being called 300cc has a bigger bore and same stroke, but only with two valves. Revs are lower on this engine; the 250cc reaches the higher hp at higher rpms.

Hey I was not born yesterday, these engines how long will they last? I would test one on the road, but is anyone putting miles on these and then pulling them apart?

I read these "reviews" they are words on paper....you can crumble them up and throw them away.

The engine is made by who? What testing went into its development?

I am sorry a test bike is ridden for a longer duration like 5000km; then it should get torn down, whats the exchange for the reviews? Conflict of interests, paid to say.

I did not stay at a Holiday Inn...but I've seen the film Idiocracy though.

The bike reminds me of a Ducatti Monster. I'd drive it. :D
