Finally got the plotter going this morning, got some new stickers on my bike plus went thru a sheet of the stickers GIO sells.
So far bike has not needed much, changed oil, changed spark plug to a NGK, changed carb to the GIO "Performance mikuni carb" and that's about it, so far it's been a very good bike.
And yes in pic one that is my pumpkin plant, i enter a contest for a giant pumpkin, only 1 big one of the vine so far, don't think i'll win any $$$ this year, if anyone has tips and tricks they'd like to share i'm all ears, still a month and a half to go til weigh in.

They grow odd stuff at work instead of common landscaping. Last year had a bumper crop of melons, small punkins and such. The owner bought 2 packs of seeds for giant punkins this year. One of the packs had 4 seeds and the one that advertised the largest, only had 2 seeds! I dont thing any of the plants set any fruit though.

Impressive pumpkin, and really nice bike.
I think that exhaust header is stainless; I bet it would polish nicely. 8) What's the seat height on your bike?

Nope, no X37 for me, i can do enough damage to myself on this one already, i prefer to do my fast riding in the snow, i still feel much more comfortable on my sled than my quad or dirtbike so far.

Well we had our pumpkin weigh-in on the weekend, i was a far cry from the 558lb winner, but for the first year i was happy with my 112lb'er.
As for the bike, the electric start stuff is now gone, looks like about 11lbs gone, i'm also taking the airbox off and i'll be running a UNI or K&N on it with the GIO upgrade mikuni carb, i'll get pics of that when i get closer to having it all done.
Here's my summer project......

A man and his gourd. It's a beautiful thing!
Hey your bike looks great! It has the same OHC motor I hope to repower my XR200 with. How do you like the motor?

The motor has been working great so far, lots of power and sounds great, i've been out of commision for about a month after hurting my shoulder so that's why i'm doing to work on the bike now, hopefully i can get it all done before the snow flies, darn, i gotta get my sled ready before that happens too, i need a week off work.

Well...I'm 99% done on my electric start removal / carb change on my X31, so far i've taken about 10lbs out of the bike, with the new carb and the jetting change to a 110 main and 25 pilot it now starts 1st or 2nd kick everytime, plus i have no battery to worry about keeping charged up now. Hopefully i can get out today and find the 2 hose clamps i still need, then tomorrow at the shop i need to make an aluminum plug to plug the hole where the starter was. I found an old rad hose that had that doubler pc of rubber on it that worked perfect to adapt the new carb to the K&N air filter, i also got rid of the airbox and made a pc of aluminum to keep the mud and crap off the air filter, hopefully the weather is good tomorrow so i can get out for a ride, here's a few pics of my progress.

Excellent! That filter should stay nice and dry.
Please show us a photo of the plug you fab for the starter hole.

Another added bonus, you don't have to replace the battery every 2 or 3 years... Cost and hassle savings right there!

Well had the bike out today, jetting is close but needs to be a tad richer on the lowend, i'm thinking a 27.5 pilot instead of the 25 is needed, the deflector seemed to do it's job today, lots o crap on the outside and very little on the filter side, i'm also going to get an Outerwear to put on the filter to keep the bigger chunks off (if any actually get in) and they also help keep water off the filter. Didn't have time at the shop today to make the plug so i just bolted the starter back in place to seal up that hole, maybe next time.

could you use the end cap of the starter ? the peice that the long bolts go into, if needed i can snap a picture of said peice on my quad to show you.
all you would need is some shorter bolts..
