I was recently cruising down the highway, and saw an odd vehicle coming at me. It looked like a smart car. Only it was half as wide. The only thing I can imagine it might have been is this thing called the Tango, http://www.commutercars.com/
I don't know how they can call something that costs $100K (over) a commuter car. That is idiotic in my opinion. Cost has to be factored into it. The Brammo motorcycles are expensive, but they are much more realistic as an electric commuter vehicle. I would say a much better choice for a commuter vehicle though is something like a honda cbr 125, or kawasaki ninja 250. Or an old sunfire for that matter. If I could afford a $100K "commuter car" I would probably keep the money and work less.
