Save your money, I don't see a DOHC 4 valve head, a 125 in what appears to be stock form is 8hp TOPS (on a good day with the right temperature). Either the weight isn't right, or the owner has incorporated some "racing" cast iron components.

Either pass it by, or steal it (double check the title) the owner is a moron.

That's cool, I've never seen one with a 125 from the factory, so I wonder if the seller repowered it?

That's the very bike that BrianW was going to repower, but has since given up on.

Don't worry I was not thinking of buying it, and I caught the DOHC paradox. I just thought it was cool and posted it because of Brian's project.

The bike's in Walla Walla anyways, about 60 icy miles from here. Now if it would have fit in my plane that would be a different story.

Since the DOHC reference is false, I wonder if the engine is 50cc. Some unsuspecting buyer would never know.

Very cool little scooters. They were 125 cc 2V motors ( the 50cc are pretty rare), and pretty capable.

I can't recall the name, but they were also available in Canada under a different name, imported by a PQ company.
I had a chance to buy one last year for about $1k, and regret not doing it.

All the 125 pit bike motors, and a lot of the parts fit.

The ones I've seen in Western Canada are badged AMG Nitro.

I have put a link to a manual in the scooter section.

Thanks Reveeen, that has some really good horizontal engine info in it. I'm surprised that it was published in 2005.
