Did you use a 9" overhang?
This one is 11 inches. Planning to put some brackets on for a bit of extra support.
The missus ordered it. Not sure if she specified that much overhand.

If I had worked straight thru...approx 20hrs...spread out over 2 weekends.
Did this one all by myself with some "strategic" help...youngest son for lifting help when I could pin him down and a friend at work who is "tool geek"...table saw, biscuit router, clamps, sanders...you name it.
Works weekends, so he couldn't help.
Used 3/4 inch red oak almost straight from the mill. It had been dried and surface planed. All I had to do was cut the boards to size and put it together :lol:
Kinda made a "kit" first, then assembled. Saved a lot of "Doh!! didn't cut that right!" 8O

Thanks for the comments, all. It was fun. I was kinda worried it might not turn out so good, pleasantly surprised.

PS: Soon to come...pulling the clutch cover and checking the gear play for the balance shaft... :o Pics as I go along. Might be useful for the 200cc balancer engines...
