Hi Larry,

Does your pocket bike have a two stroke or four stroke engine?

It has 49cc two stroke

In that case Larry, I'm not much help. I have some experience with four stroke automatic clutches, but not two strokes. Is there any provision for adjustment?

I believe that the clutch used is like ones on minibikes and go carts. Centrifugal.

Looks like a few different styles out there.

You may need to lube the pivots on the springs and weights. Possible they are too tight.

The clutch will have a drum assembly that is also the front sprocket. Probably held on with a single bolt. Under that will be the springs and weights. If the weights are too tight they will not spin out when the engine is revved and no go. One possibility is that they forgot to put the keyway on the shaft and the clutch is just spin on the shaft.

Pictures would help alot. I have never worked on one of these. Just seen them.

You might also want to remove the cover of the transmission (gear reducer ) and make sure the chain is still intact in there.
