They've been growing for a long time. Fifties-era pick up trucks are often the same wheelbase and track width as an S-10.

I don't know why the manufacturers need to keep making them bigger. I like to drive a small pickup but there are not many choices left in North America.
Maybe the Chinese will bring in a small truck? GMC was testing a small Chinese diesel truck in the mountains of North Carolina this last fall. It had the GMC badging on it.

I think so too.
Barnone. I like the small lightweight truck. If the Chinese can build us something that has fairly good reliability I would be interested.
The Indians are working on it. I signed up for a test drive at the importers office in Alpharetta. Still waiting.
