Well thanks to all of you that sent info. Its Runing for now. I made a new bace gasket and reused the old head gasket. E J cycles is trying to get me new gaskets. But till then I'm back on the road. cant keep a good china bike down.

Were you able to find a replacement gasket, or did you just make one out of gasket material? Glad to hear it's up and running again. Great work!

Heres the news! can't use the same head gasket 2 times. we got about 15 miles on it befor she let go. Oh well just have to waint for new gaskets. and next time I take notes and PIC.

up date. Viva sent new gaskets,( for free) and told us they ordered the O rings from China. and I have a new motor coming from eBay, so one way or the other I will be riding my Viva againe soon. the Sportster is nice but no china bike.

I see that Viva sent you the gaskets you needed. That's good they stepped up to the plate. I have some to, just came in this week but don't worry I'll just keep them in stock in case anyone else needs them.

Viva seems to be doing a good job replacing parts. My right mirror was broken and my bike came with the wrong wheels. Viva has sent me a new mirror and the new correct wheels. Awesome! Over the past few days, I was having mixed feelings over the bike. That all went away with the arrival of the new parts.

Keep us posted about your bike and what you do to it msRandi. Pics would be nice too!

still missing the O rings and want to replace dowels which viva says they are going to send when they get it from China, as I think it was movemint that caused the base gasket to give up. But I did get a new motor from eBay, So hope to be riding my Viva with Rachel soon.

Bruce thanks for all your help. It is good to know we can get parts.
