Last year was the first time I've missed one in several years (I was away). Son of Weldangrind and I will likely go.

May well be heading over on the 22nd.
So did you guys check out the Xingyue's at the Saga booth?
My favorite at the show was still the Triumph's, and also interested in the Royal Enfield, though I think the finish on them is inferior, and they are way over priced.

The Saga booth was really disappointing. They had a 250 atv that is similar to the Beast, and the rear sprocket wasn't installed correctly, so the chain tracked at an angle. They also had a GY6 150 atv with rust on the front suspension. You'd think they would put their best foot forward at a bike show.
The 400 was ok, but I'm not sold yet. The rear shock was a pogo stick (replaceable, I know), and the accessories looked really cheap. It wouldn't have hurt to install some name brand items for display purposes, like an FMF bar pad. You could always make a sign indicating that such options are extra.
I appreciated the Royal Enfield bikes, particularly the military green version. It was odd to see an O2 and TPS sensor on that bike. The Triumphs were really nice as well. I really enjoyed the customs section.
My favourite, hands down, was the mid-forties Indian that an insurance company had on display. It was perfect. :D
I'll be honest I didn't spend more then a quick glance on the Saga booth as I've seen the Xingyue's before when Coast to Coast / XingyueCanada had them, and I've seen the atv's down at their store in Langley.
Talk about putting the best foot forward, if you looked much at the red bullet you would notice it was pretty beat up. I too liked the green version.
The other ones I checked out were the Zero's, I only sat on one, the S (street version). Wow that was a hard seat. Not too comfortable. I think they're a neat idea but still way over priced. I'd also have to try one out to see how the throttle feels. One full turn of the throttle should have you at top speed, as opposed to 5 full turns on a bike with a 5 speed transmission. That seems like it would be finicky to me, but I have no idea. I asked about registration and insurance and they said ICBC would basically class them as a 125cc bike.
