That statement is inaccurate. I want Q, but I don't want to deal with customs, and I don't have the money for it. ;) I wish you luck selling it though, very nice bike :)

Gotta guy on the way over to look at it now, and another guy who promises to buy it if the first one balks, and another one who just called. I should have asked for more. The CL price is $1,500. I was only asking $1,200 here.

Sorry guys she's sold.
For the first time in years I'm without a Chinabike. I count The Dirt Rat as a CB though, it has a Chinese heart transplant. :P
Congrats Doc, is the lucky new owner a member here, or off craigslist?

CL. The guy was here 1/2 hour after I posted. I had another guy promising to buy it if the first guy balked. I had another call while the buyer was here. I think I could have asked for more money. Oh well. I'm happy for the trouble free cash sale. :D

Anyone sitting on a fence wondering if these are a good value should read this thread.

Good point. 8)
The Q even had resale value! It maintained 100% of it's value over a year and a half. Part of the reason for that was I got the bike at dealer cost plus $200. My friend Andy is a Q dealer.
I also did well on the XS400. I really enjoyed that bike and got 4,000 miles of fun use out of it in a year.
I could not find the title for the XS for the life of me last night. I'm going to meet the new owner at the DMV during lunch and hopefully we can get it ironed out easily enough.... Does anyone have any experiance with that sort of thing?

I know that you won't have any trouble obtaining a replacement title from the WA DMV, because you posess legal title now. I tried to buy a bike in WA where the owner didn't have legal title, and I eventually gave up.
Hit the WA DMV website for details.
