Hey that was cool!

I'm waiting to see what Wild Alaskan has to say. Spud will appreciate it too. That Yamaha is a cousin to his Zong.

Those were Yamaha Big Wheels. I forget the nomenclature. TW200? They came out in the mid 80's. My friend and his little brother each got one for Christmas back in the 80's. I got to ride his little brothers a lot....he, he. (sucks being the younger brother....I know first hand). Fun bike, the big wheels have their pros and cons depending on the task. For what those guys were doing in the video, it's pretty good.

That was a good video, I like the Beer comment.

Good video, and bonus points for the gratuitous Shania shot...

That was a BW200. Coincidentally, my buddy just bought one, and my other buddy is buying it from him. Jim, you'll have the opportunity to try it if you like. :D The buddy that's buying it also has the little brother, the BW80.

Ahh, Shania...

That's the little two stroke version. The bike in the video is a four stroke 200cc, and it's nearly identical to Spud's Zong engine, short countershaft and all.

That's a fair price for the 80, BTW.

OK some Yamaha BW history...

1st, Big Wheel was out in 1985 BW200 non-electric start.

2nd, 1986 came the BW80 & BW200, BW200 1st year w/electric start.

3rd, 1987 1st year for the BW350. All BW vehicles used ATV tires. The last year for all BW series was 1987.

4th, Trail Way 200, 1st year, similar to a BW200 but with much thinner tires and still fatter than a regular street tire for trail use.

I have 2.5 BW200's, Had & sold a BW350 & BW80.

They are a super fun bike to ride once you get used to them... :D
