next is I am picking up that 125 body for $20 off of c/l as well as looking at what other parts they have (hopefully get them all cheap)

and also hopeing to pick up a free 110 kids atv in abby

if he got that free quad he got really lucky...

a insurance company was giving away a broken down yamaha warrior350 that just needed a rebuild for the motor and some tlc... i emailed them an hour after their cl listing was posted, and it was already gone..

a insurance company was giving away a broken down yamaha warrior350 that just needed a rebuild for the motor and some tlc... i emailed them an hour after their cl listing was posted, and it was already gone..

The thing is it was posted on the Abbotsford craigslist. Hardly anyone uses it as there is much more traffic to the Vancouver craigslist(nearby city). If it is on Vancouvers craigslist, good luck    but stuff lasts for quite some time on the abby one.

I wanted to inquire about the free 110 as well, thought the motor my fit well in my ct70, but I had to go to work, oh well there's a motor on the 70 already, just have to check it out and fix the ignition.

I'm not sure what all that might be worth, I don't know quite what all you have, you should make a list... How much did you spend? $20 for the plastic, anything else? Seems like a good haul.

It would be worth a lot to me; there's a bunch of wrench time there. :D

I'm glad that you got the 110. I spotted the ad, but I really don't need a quad like that. I think you said you have grandchildren, so it'll get use at your place.

I like the bead breaker / tire changer. That'll come in handy. Also, don't get rid of the CDI's and the regulators; they're handy to have when you go riding. Does it look like the spare body will fit the 110?

It looks like the chargers are for Razor electric scooters (the stand-up type).

Good haul! :D

You just need that 600 I found you on craigslist, then you will have wrench time...

I plan on making a list as I am not quite sure what is there.
I spent $20 on the body and another $60 for the rest of it....I think I made a good choice.

yes we have grandkids so the 110 will come in handy.

looks like all it needs is a carb, exhaust and a battery....will see if I can turn the engine by hand this weekend.

is there a way to test the electronics to make sure that they all work?

I do not think the body will fit on our small 110 it looks longer that the one we have...but someone will need it eventually.

just had a better look at the 110 and it looks like all it needs is the carb and exhaust (battery was hiding under the seat)

A 19mm honda horizontal clone carb. Easily found in the $20-30 range on ebay.

Weldangrind

Yep. Also easily found at Saga in Langley, along with a new exhaust pipe. Just try to select a pipe that doesn't have a catalytic converter in it. If you find a pipe for cheap that has a cat, I could chop it out and weld it up for you.

Don't forget to mention that you're a Chinarider. You might get the good-guy price. :D

well so much for the roll.

came out of the house this morning to find some of my stuff (benches ect) out in the driveway and theifs had made off with an old needed to be fixed westward tool box as well I think they got the atv tire changer (but didn't take the bar that is needed to remove the tires) and they left all the other shit that was there.....stereo's for cars, helmets, power tools.....idiots.

big dog gets to sleep in the carport tonight and now i get to bitch at my landlord ....was supposed to get me the permit and wood to turn the carport into a garage 3 months ago.

not so pissed about the old tool box ( with no tools in it) but damn i have only had the tire changer for 2 days and never even got to use it

That sucks.

So all they took was a broken tool box and a tire changer?

midlifekrisiz

That sucks.

So all they took was a broken tool box and a tire changer?

broken tool box, the tire changer minus the bar (thats needed to change the tires) and a box of heavy 0/2 cable (even dumped out all the small wire that was in the box)

how they could walk down the road with all that and not get caught is beyond me.

I'm sorry to hear about the theft. Only the lowest crackhead POS would steal a man's tool. If he/she actually knew how to use tools they would have a job and not steal your stuff.

Now now, there are a lot of people who are capable who cannot find a job nowadays... Isn't there something like 3 people looking per each available job in the us now? I don't have any facts I just remember reading something along those lines. Not to say stealing is ok.

I had a weird dream last night that must of spawned from reading this thread and from watching a kid ride a three wheeler across a field yesterday.

In my dream this Church gave me this early 80's Honda Magna, three wheeler thing with a V750 engine in it. They just wanted it off of their parking lot because it had been sitting their for years. While I was riding it, I remember thinking, "man wait until the guys at Chinarider here this"

Anyway, sorry to hear about the theft. I've had a few things stolen over the years and was ripped off in a scam once. Made me feel horrible. Not so much of what I lost, but that somebody could do that to others. I try not to let it get to me. Some of the theives were desperate, the others were naive in thinking that they got away with it.
Sooner or later we all pay for our mistakes and so will they. You know the ole saying "payback is a female dog"
