Tsunami Warning

Due to the massive earthquake in Japan, we have a tsunami warning here on Vancouver Island. Apparently Port Renfrew (west side of the island) has been evacuated as a precaution.

My thoghts are with all those effected, and am hoping it does not cause any more issues when it hits here.

The report I heard on the news this morning is that some larger waves are expected in Tofino, but nothing damaging. Here's hoping they're right.

One of the nicest motorcycle rides I ever took was out to Port Renfrew. I hope they are OK. :cry:

Some Japanese rode bikes to look for their relatives in disaster stricken areas, because the rails were stopped and roads are impassable.

Many first responders have one of these bikes in their garages. I'm keeping mine. The sucker has almost 4,000 miles on it now. When do I change the clutch?

When it starts to slip. You'll know, because it will rev higher but travel more slowly than when it was new.
