How do I replace the right turn signal indicator on my dashboard? Do I have to take anything apart to get to it?
My shop manual was not much help.

I believe you need to pull the instrument cluster out and then change the bulb from the back. Probably a 194 sized bulb.

Nuts.
I was able to figure out the 194 but did not want to pull the instument cluster.
This will be a test of my OCD to see if I can stand having a panel light not working....
I doubt it.

Looks like a PIA but do-able:

This is a newer model than mine but should be all the same stuff I figure.

Isn't that just a "special" ordeal (at least you don't have to take off the front bumper).

If I do it I think I will replace all the bulbs while I am back there so I don't have to do it again.

Your OCD can't be to bad, Doc. You left the letters out of alphabetical order.

Better go LED then, they'll last longer than the truck.

I don't know about those new fangled LED bulbs. If FastDoc can get another twenty years out of the regular bulbs why bother?
Most people around here never use their turn signals anyway and some that do leave them on for miles but that is another issue.

I agree. Use the cheap bulbs. Just replace them all while its out. Looking at my old 88 ranger I think it is much simpler to pull the cluster.
