I know I shouldn't be complaining....and it's really not "Life Threatening" or career ending....and i know that after all I'm very blessed to still be employed in these difficult times....as many good people are not.....but this happened at my work.

Our Big Bosses wanted to redo our office I work in. They wanted to make it 'more comfortable and more condusive to productivity'.
I guess our old desks weren't good enough anymore and they felt that neighborhhod beautification was needed.

Mind you, the 3 of us in Business Services used to work as a team. We could see each other, talk openly and also, worked on a lot of the same projects together. Critical job banter was also important, being it's a stressful hectic position and that 'punchiness' toward the end of a long week was well-needed.

Well, starting a week ago Monday...all that came to an end.....plus.....I'mm now trapped in a fuzzy box.

This is literally the view from my desk two weeks ago. :D

This is my new view of my same window. :x

A real moral booster, to say the least. 8O

I'm no cubert, I just couldnt take it.

In hind sight, maybe you should have trimmed those nose hairs......J/K-ing

Like you said atleast you still have a job, my wife lost hers 33 months or so ago and still isnt working but then she isnt really looking which has me all worked up to the max.

I work outside year round and love most of it and when the weather gets really bad out I love that feeling of climbing back into the toasty warm dry truck but still be part of it all out there.

When the weather is perfect I feel a little sorry for the ones trapped inside, I see their sad little faces pressed up against the glass.

You had a great view. That does hurt.

That sucks 2LZ.

Yes, those of us who have jobs should be thankful, but that doesn't mean your work environment should be undignified. I've been there as well; I don't miss it.

All in the name of increased productivity? I say that happy employees are more likely to be productive.
