I will direct him over here, and perhaps he'll be a new member. Do we have any room for any new Q owners or are we at quota already?

I'm a bachelor. A toaster oven is a key appliance.

All Joking aside - I'm glad to see the Forum grow with more CB and other bike owners. The experience and weath of information and Knowledge being shared here is awesome - I think one of the key things that really keep people sticking with a particular forum is just that. The Knowledge and friendly people. Sorry just had to through that out here.....LOL
Great Job Everyone - Always remember "NO Question - is a Dumb Question" I usually have the dumb questions! LOL.....
DOC - Your welcome to any toaster oven thats available - You deserve it! LMAO

Andrew, I completely agree. I've been a part of a few forums, and this is by far my favourite. :D

A hearty AMEN to that! :D
Here's another AMEN to add in! You guys are all great fun. I feel more welcome here than any of the other Forums that I visit. Most of the other guys ask, ...why would you do that? Or why would you want to ride something like that?
You guys are always very encouraging. Of corse, I'm not sure that's always a good thing! But it's FUN!
You can always tell who the true enthusiasts are!
FastDoc,
Good for you, helping your friend like that! That HusaB is a coolbike but not for a new rider.

I have fun with with bikes in general. Been riding around on the little baja 90 alot lately.
Other forums seem to look down on those who don't have the latest model.

That's one of the main reason that so many of us are here. We're realistic about having fun, and it doesn't require the latest model of anything for that to happen.
I applaude ingenuity and creativity; plenty of that around here. :D
BTW Sam, while we prefer to be called facilitators, we're really a bunch of enablers.

Yep! Great place....and they even welcomed the likes of me! 8O
I really think it's a "Birds of a Feather" thing. We all come from many various backgrounds and lifestyles....but we all like to ride, we all like a great deal, we all like 'something new and unproven' to play with....and most of all, we all like to make things better than we got it and the research and the sharing of that....is a good chunk of the fun.
At least that's my .02 and I'm stickin' to it. 8)

I believe the members of these forums are more willing to "think outside the box," and experiment with new things. Also, we appreciate value, and don't need to be validated by owning a "brand name" vehicle. In addition, most of the members here are friendly, polite, and helpful. Indeed, these forums are a very nice place to "hang out." :D

+1 getting there is more important than what got you there.

I can't think of a better bike for him to learn on! Plus, I gotta say, for 60 he's in excellent shape! Your a very good friend to steer him on the right path towards enjoying our two wheeled hobby, plus you probably saved him injuring himself trying to learn to ride on the rocket (Husaberg). I read up on the Husabergs, I've never seen one in real life but they are indeed an awesome bike! A fellow at work has one of those (barely) street legal KTM's and it's something else! :)
