How do i adjust my chain or even check to see if it needs adjusted??

Please list your ATV Model for us - The ATV experts will be along shortly. You usualy begin by Jacking her up Loosen the Axle Bolts. On each side of the swingarm you should find you adjusters. You'll have to loosen them as well. Next you begin my adjusting the inner nuts on the adjuster to srt tightning the chain. You'll want to measure or eye ball up so each side is equal. Do not overtighten your chain. I would suggest half inch of slack but best to ask the atv guys. Then after you get the chain where it needs to be then tighten down the outer nuts. Next tighten theaxles bolts. Pretty easy stuff unless your working with something un ordinary - Thats why I ask Please list your Model ATV.

half inch to one inch of slack seems good, would really need to know what kind of atv you have and even pictures of the rear axle would help greatly..

after some use on a new chain it will stretch some, but most chains now come prestretched and will stretch very little if any at all..
