Just as i did with our tao tao atv's, i picked up a lil 110cc bike with very little knowledge of the brand. I've seen this bike running before & asked my friend if he'd sell it. Now that winters over, he folded and gave it to me for a .22lr savage. It was a good lil shooter, but i'll get another. Anyway, i he dropped it off & began working on it. Got it fired and adjusted pretty quick, but will be full servicing it soon. I tore all his stickers and the training wheels of and had a partial yamaha decal set from my kids PW50. I put on yama decals cuz i thawt it'd look good with em. Came out sharp & im dine for the night. If any of you have experience with this model, plz feel free to add suggestions. All comments welcome.

It really does look Yamaha blue; since it's a Honda clone, I hereby christen it the Yamahonda.

It looks to be a near direct crf50 copy. A decal set for one of those would be a new perfect fit.

Is it possible to mod this bike for taller tires?

Not likely without swingarm mods. You might be able to stuff a 14" front wheel on without hitting the fender on suspension compression.

Kato is correct... It's a CRF50 copy.

You would need to change the forks & swing arm to put larger wheels on that bike. As that fork & swing arm are made they will only handle a 10" wheel.

The bike may have been manufactured by Maxtrade LLC (d/b/a Coolster.com).

With a swing arm mod, is there a manufactured arm avail or would i have to have it custom made?

While thinking about it a lil more, would a taller wheelset imply having wider wheels as well?

I'll check into the 14"

Thanks fellas. Do u have a direction to point me in for pricing?

The truth is you'd be further ahead by finding a bike with larger wheels. If you found a bike with a blown motor, it might be nearly free, then you could swap the engine over and have some spare parts.

Weld, thats an excellent idea! If i remember correctly, there was a chinese mx shop in a nearby town that had a fire & some of the guys bikes were recovered & stored outside. I might stop by and take a look to see if any are salvageable.
