I bought a Konker KSM200 a few weeks ago, great bike runs well no issues so far though I have barely ridden it. Spring has barely sprung 'round these parts (Calgary Alberta). When I bought the bike, it was at a greatly reduced price and the shop owner specified that there would be no warranty on it because he could not even get Konker to return his emails. In the last couple of days the Konker website dissappeared, and when I did a search for "Konker out of business" I found a facebook group of disgruntled people grumbling about lack of warranty support which is something I am not concerned about since my bike was sold "as is" with no warranty to begin with. Do any of you Canadians know anything? I am just curious as I have no beef with Konker and issues with the bike. Heres a picture...ha ha the first thing I did was remove the branding! I might have to consider changeing my nickname to "the rider formerly known as McKonker"

Wow! I had to check, the site is down it seems? Kinda sucks, I've talked to both Allan and Michelle and they seemed to be really excited about the brand. I'm guessing that maybe they just never caught on and sold enough to be successful? I wonder, can you get parts on ebay or through Q Link in the States? Nice looking bike by the way, I had a silver one and really liked it but I sold it when I bought my KLR. Did you get the enduro wheels kit with yours?

No I didn't get the wheel kit. I can't see why I couldn't just order parts from a Qlink dealer in the States if necessary, time will tell. Hopefully the main components just work. A Japanese friend told me that the motor from the DR200 is well known for being reliable and fuel efficient. Fingers crossed. I had an '81 Suzuki RM80 and it was indestructible.

Nice bike! :D I wouldn't worry whether Konker is out of business; you basically bought a Suzuki motorcycle, so you won't have problems getting engine parts for it. ;)

I just checked again and the Konkermotors.com site is up and running, but it doesn't seem to have any recent info. It would be a shame if they folded, Allan was a great guy to deal with, very enthusiastic!

Yes, these motorcycles are manufactured by the Chinese company Qingqi. QLink (Qingqi Link) imports these bikes into the United States of America, and Konker imports them into Canada. ;) These same motorcycles have different names when imported into other countries.
