Qlink turn signal relay

So this past Monday the turn signal relay/flasher on the Q decided to quit working and after search the internet for hours to find a replacement. I tried an automotive 12 volt relay that I had laying around the garage and so far it has worked flawlessly without a single gliche for the rest of the week. I'm sure that there are some china bikers out there who will have a tantrum about straying away from stock/oem items, but I'm going to keep this new change as is.

Glad you got it sorted. Yup, for the most part flashers are flashers. I used an automotive one on my XS400 and it was fine.

A Q's flasher is in a vunerable spot to getting wet if pressure washed.

Just when I fix one little problem, another one pops up. Nothing serious just that the tach has now decided to work when it wants to, or just bounce around. Another small weekend project to look at, it's got to be a bad conection or loose wire

Don't forget the warantee... I've not seen the tach be a problem on Q's before so it might be a wire or something easy.

I say get Q to send you a new insturment panel, leave it in the wrapper just in case, and get a Vapor. 8)
