Hello Bill.
It's in the genes, Doc. You have already been assimilated and there is NO CURE! Unfortunately.....you're just in remission. It will rear it's ugly head again.
I can hear the thought process now.
Doc: "Hmmmm...all my patients are healthy. My 'vette is perfect....as is my GW and KLX. My Ranger even has new oil and filter. I MUST find another China Bike! My purpose is gone!" 8O

Yep....it will all fall into place. It's destiny......... 8)

LMAO! You guys made me laugh twice tonight!

Maybe save for an Enfield?

I could earn enough extra cash off maybe a dozen diabetics, or nine smokers. 8)

India, China.... Same idea.

And the timing is just about "right", for that phone call we associate with that "5 letter word", AUDIT.

Those Enfields are gorgeous! They've "modernized" them a bit to make them more reliable. Cycle Works is having a demo day on Saturday, I'm tempted to go :). I like the Bullets, sweet looking rides! Scared to go though, lest I pick up another payment, I'm kind of an impulse buyer :D

Don't do it! Back away from the demo ride on the Bullet. One sip err ride and you are hooked.

There's an Enfield dealer in Spokane. I may wanna take a test ride just to make sure I don't want one 8) . On the other hand they are pricey, for very little more a guy could get a Bonneville...

My now-defunct Victory/Triumph dealer here in Sac got in the Enfields last year....for about a month. The Enfield rep said that they were CARB approved at the time (or were on the verge of)....and ended up not being the case. He had to send them all back.
I checked them out closely. Neat....but more 'novelty' than anything else, was my feeling. I don't think I'd seriously ride one for more than taking it to an ocassional local Tuesday Night Bike show at your favorite burger joint or a short day cruise.
Uh oh!....drat. Guilty of the China Riders Famous Thread Drift! :x

In other words, the ideal Indian Chinabike!

Do we coin a new word there? Indiabike?

I like the enfields as well, but the fit and finish seems sub-par for the price they're asking for them...

I've not seen one in person, but I also think they are overpriced by at least a grand.

To find one used is hard because they are so rare to begin with, and the desirale ones with a 5 speed, EFI, and a unit engine/transmission construction are very recent.

What do Urals go for? :P
