Emilie wanted the pink one, but it was over a $100 more. We compromise on a custom purple over black paint scheme.

This is to replace her EZGO that she won 2 years ago that was not practical for her to operate or for me to maintain.

Great Cadillac! Cheap to operate also! She's got good luck, how did she win the EZ-GO?

Church Association Picnic. She was 3 years and had her name drawn for the grand prize. I made an agreement with her to sell the golf car and get something more her style. The rest of the money will go into her savings account.

Midlife. She would like that. It already has an FM radio.

Total girl driving. Playing with the radio weaving all over. I just need to give her a phone to complete the package.

I plan to lay out the paint tomorrow morning while she is at school. I might start with the mods soon too. LED lighting.

Sweet! How many girls in her class do you think have Escalades? Nice wheels :D

Probably not too many. Espicially ones that are about to be modded. We will probably go 18volt soon.

Maybe even this. 8O

I laughed when I read that and almost got coffee on my tie!

Very pretty girl. Daddy will be SOL and have a lot of worries when she hits about 13....

I like the black much better too. The pink ones are harder to keep nice.

I bet that thing would scoot with a little 110 in it.

Maybe we will have to start something in the lab. AKA the yard shed.

Also scored two more.
Traded the baja 90 for them. Pontiac solstice and F150. The oldest claimed the truck. I just had to shim a motor. Works fine. Solstice needed a battery.

X2 on everything Doc said! :D

Did you use Krylon Fusion spray paint? The eldest daughter who chose the F150 is obviously her Daddy's girl! I see Buford also approves of the recent acquisitions. :D

Why did the motor require shimming? Was the shaft sloppy?

You're a good Dad. :D

Spud, they did not have fusion in the purple. What I did was use a plastic primer and then regular purple primer as recommend by the paint person at HD.

Came out pretty well. I plan to let it cure and then clear it on.

Not happy about the paint lines so I want to find some pink pinstriping.

Lily is a Daddy's girl/tomboy.

This was a win-win trade today. I traded to a guy with older kids that were ready for the bike and too big for the truck. The pink car came from a thrift store he volunteers at.

The baja was not being used enough here. These power wheels will get ridden.

Next will be LED lighting. They want to roll at night.

It was a different design than the older PWs. The wheel is held on with a pin on the axle. Pretty much just needed to add a washer to hold the wheel tighter to the gearbox.

I used a plastic cap from a powerade bottle and drill a 3/4" hole in it. Slid it on an put the pin back in. Works great. Zero cost. 5 minutes. Happy kid.

The paint job looks great! I'm sure the girls will also enjoy some pink pinstripes. ;) Win-win trades are a wonderful thing. :D

P.S. How much does Buford weigh? 8O

I had to shim on the used F150 powerwheel. Not the new cadillac.
