I have a QLink Legacy 250. It sputters and dies when I get it up to around 50mph. I just got it out of the shop because it wouldn't start at all. The sputtering isn't a new problem. It has old gas in the tank. Should I drain it and put fresh in it?

Yes, get fresh gas. What did they do at the shop? Old gas usually means that the carb is gummed up too.

Welcome to the forum.
Change the gas, use what's left in your lawnmower or something.
Check for a kink in the fuel line. China-rubber is notoriously bad and degrades.

Welcome!
To support Doc's comment, new quality fuel hose is cheap insurance.

We welcome pictures. I think the legacy uses the 250cc scooter engines.
www.scrappydogscooters.com has a great selection of parts and fast shipping.
I like to use old gas in my old truck. Working on an xr100 today that has been unused for months. I can smell the old gas walking up to it.
