Kick Stand Too Long?

Ok, getting real close, got front wheel on etc. and go to let bike stand, and it wont bend over enough. The kick stand is too long! I tried rotating front tire etc. but overall, the stand is just too long.

Has anyone run into this, any suggestions?

This really ticks me off to be so close and then this. :oops:

Did you connect the rear shock linkage, Larry? If you didn't connect the rear shock linkage, or you connected it incorrectly, the bike would sit too low, and the kick stand would appear to be too long. ;)
