I've wanted a Gear-up for quite a while. Any motorcycle you can buy with a factory MG mount is simply cool.

Maybe he'd let you make payments :P $20 a month, it'd be paid off in about 29 years!

Cool bike.

Not in my buget either, but when I'm done with alimony it would be easy...

They are cool machines...I love them...but, as said above, the cost is just way too unrealistic.

They were pretty cheap when they were first imported. Same for the Royal Enfields. Not so much any more...

Yeah there's a local joint here that sells both...the damn RE's are like $8000 for a 500cc push-rod, low compression single that "might" go 70.

I think the RE would be an awesome $4,000, maybe $4,500 MAX motorcycle.

Isn't that sidecar on the wrong side or is it a right hand drive model (English model)?

I will stick to the $300 scooters.

Love the Urals! I was looking into them in the spring, they have a place in Edmonton that sells them. Being the impulse buyer I am, I figured it best that I didn't go and see them in person...

I love the Urals too, but my China Rider mentality is fine with a CJ750 (sans sidecar).

My goodness! When did a used Ural become worth $7,000! 8O However, I'm pretty sure any other motorcycle with a sidecar would probably be much more expensive. ;)

P.S. I agree; they are very cool. :)

Spud :)

Or if you do:
1) don't get sent down the road kicking stones
2)buy big insurance and outlive them

(I managed the second one without the insurance)

In the UK, law requires the hack to be on the left side. My pic must've been taken from a British site.

Hey I scored a ride on a Ural sidecar rig! :D

One of my patients has one and offered for me to have a go on it!

I'll be sure to report my impressions and share pictures.
