Hey guys! I had both my Beast and my sons Mini Beast running today and they sound great. Took em both for a trip up and down the alley a couple of times and I think I've come to the realization that I much prefer bikes to ATV's. Do you think I could get $500 or $600 for my Beast and put the money towards a chinese dirt bike to trail ride with? I've got the Mikuni carb and aftermarket front shocks on my Beast and it runs beautiful. My son want's to keep his Mini-Beast but I just feel more comfortable on a bike I think... Opinions anyone?

Hmmm... Might have to wait on that one. I just lost out on an auction where the person who won had the same bid I did, and mine was in first?? Lol, that'll teach me to go back to the dark side! :)

Having both I prefer dirt bikes, especially Dualsports by a wide margin.

I keep the ATV to ride with friends who don't have/can't ride dirt bikes. It's also stupid fun in the snow. :P I think you should be able to get $600 plus easily for a good running Beast.

Stew, it's my studied opinion that riding with someone who is on a quad is more fun when you're on a quad. Just sayin'.

Tossing around all my options... My son says I'll miss my Beast if I sell it :). Perhaps he's right, though I do prefer 2 wheels to 4. Guess I'll hang onto it for a bit yet, maybe try to get them out for a little riding this weekend, my son would love that! :)

Of course the right advice is to have both 8) . They fill very different roles, and although they take up time and space, Chinabikes/quads are affordable enough to have one of each species.

I agree with everyone! I much prefer motorcycles to ATVs. :) However, I also agree, riding with someone who is on a quad is more fun when you're on a quad yourself. I think you will regret selling your Beast as long as you son has a Beast, himself. ;)
