where to buy a LF200 GY-5 in DFW area?

ive been looking for weeks now to see if i can find a dealer for the american Lifan 200 gy-5,
they are all either out of stock or dont carry them anymore?
whats the deal? i know you guys have probably answered this question 1000's of times but please have pity on me!
and or are their Reputable onlinke sites out there that i could get one that isnt a "GREY" market bike?, just an original AMERICAN LIFAN? so i can get parts for it
all responses or pointers would be MUCH Appreciated

Hi Luke

First, American Lifan hasn't had any LF200GY-5's in stock since 2009. The last ones they had where 2010 model year. Since then there has been an EPA lock on all foreign bikes coming into the USA for emissions issues that The EPA doesn't advise Companies/Distributors of. Also since then the LF200GY-5 has been discontinued. The bike that is supposed to be coming next is the LF200GY-5A.

As far as Grey market bikes go the answer is No, none any longer. In 2006 The EPA made it public & made it a Federal Law that there would be only "1" manufacturer per EPA engine/vehicle certificate. This law wasn't upheld until 2008 when American Lifan, CF Moto, LinHai, Kymco, United Motors and a few others complained about them {EPA} making a law & not upholding it.
The LF200GY-5A has no expected date of being here...

Luke, with a bit of luck and fortitude you might find a very clean used, like new bike for a deep discount. China bikes in my area have pretty low resale value. I didnt see any hot deals, but I would keep an eye out...
