Had to take a run into town to pick up a prescription for my wife so it was the DF's turn. She is a pleasure to ride on the curves and elevation changes here in the mountains of Western North Carolina. She moves right along.

Stopped here on the way back to catch up on all the local gossip.

Need a center stand!!!

It's a 1929 BMW R25! The guy on the other BMW is on a ride from NYC to LA CA.

Fun ride.

 Great pic. I envy you. One of these days I'll make it there. I was going to go last year with my brother-in-law but had other obligations to take care of first.

Jerry,
Let me know if you come and we can meet up. I should be here in WNC until late October.
Be riding my DF or this.

Sounds like a plan to me. Now all I have to do is talk my brother-in-law into leaving one of his bikes home so we will only need one trailer and truck to make the trip. lol

Three and possibly four if I put the Hawk in back of the truck.

Wow! that's pretty good. I only average around 65 mpg on my Hawk.

I get better MPG on all my bikes here in the mountains as there are no stop lights and very little traffic. Less MPG in Florida because of all the lights and stop and go traffic. Performance seems very good for 223 cc. I thought the speedometer was optimistic but comparing it to the speedometer app on my phone it is off maybe 2 MPH at 60 MPH.
The DF parked next to a hot shot female's bike. She really smokes the Dragon. I did pass two Harleys today on the Dragon, that pisses them off.
The DT250RTG is a fun bike to ride here in the mountains with all the curves and elevation changes.
