I bought what Herbie posted from Amazon and it was quite an easy installation, but the sensitivity is terrible even at it's most highest state. The only way it goes off as a warning is when the kickstand shocks the frame when it goes up. I can shake it and it won't go off.
Also I noticed that Herbie also had a viper alarm in another video...

I've used the same alarm on all my bikes and work perfect. You might have a bad one. Contact the seller and they will send you another one or just return it and purchase another.

I agree with what Jerry said, I’m on my third alarm from the same manufacturer and all have worked great. I did have a viper for a while but it kept blowing fuses. I believe it had an internal short to ground so I got rid of it and went back to the one in the video and have been happy with it.

My exchanged motorcycle alarm works alot better.

Amazon sent me another one where I can do a comparison and it seems like its 3 times more sensitive.:thanks:

After you changed exhaust, did you have to do anything to your ECU, and did your speed and power increase?

No, I didn’t have to do anything with the ECU, it works just fine with the upgraded exhaust. The exhaust does make a noticeable difference over the stock exhaust, a little quicker acceleration and better top end.

thanks for the reply!

I was having some stalling problems, but thanks to your advice I went back and checked my valve clearances and sure enough the exhaust was on point but the intake was open more than the specs! I re adjusted it and wa-la--- fixed! Thanks!
