Thanks for passing along the good information, Kat. Yes, I did purchase one set of the Kingston tires for my Zongshen ZS200GY-2 (Sierra). I bought a 15-inch, Kingston rear tire, and an 18-inch, Kingston front tire. After the supply of Kingston tires was gone, I converted my Zong to a Yamaha XT225 swingarm, shock absorber, and rear wheel. I later converted the front to a 21-inch wheel.

You might want to stock up on the Kingston tires, because they are likely to disappear from the United Kingdom. Also, I'm sure it would be difficult for Matty2193 to find the tires while traveling through Europe or Africa.

Front wheel video.

Since it's not specifically RX3 related, I posted the link to a video I thought contains good info for folks new to doing their own maintenance.

It's in Videos titled Front Wheel Installation Tips.

Kat... thanks for showing the latest info on the rx4!

On the second site you listed I couldn't find a mention of the rx4. I used chrome translator

I am a little surprised to see the RX 4 shook out this quick I have not thought to even expect anything on this till late summer. Should have known since that prototype looks pretty retail ready. (I know , a 2018 in US)

Guess it will be a little closer to $6k rather than $5k. But it has the looks of a high end bmw! Sharp ride!

Please answer

Forcasted cost rate-feb 2017... 5500 Euro or $5932.02 US Dollar or 4750.94 British Pound

42.91 horsepower... first official quote I've seen

Max speed 99.4194 mph...plenty

Seat height 24.4094 inches ... can always go higher with seat, tires etc

Ground clearance...7.87402 inches with stock 17/18 rims

5.28344 us gal tank

Weight 429.901 pounds closer to 400 would be better but

Upward cam suppose that means overhead cam?

What exactly is ignition ... Ecu what does this stand for , I know what it means but what does it stznd for? electronic computer unit??? Not sure please advise

450.3 ml. Is this same expression as cc... correct?

Once again, thanks Kat. I haven't seen the specs. You will probably have access to purchase the rx4 in the UK before the United states. Start saving your nickers.

Almost the same specs as my 2014 Honda CB500X. My CB is lighter and cost less brand new, $5499 OTD. 2015/16 can still be found as low as $4500 new and with ABS braking.

Seat height = 820 mm = ~32.3 inches

ECU = engine control unit = electronic control unit.

I'd be shocked if the Zong isn't priced to compete with the extra bolt on's included, like the RX3. It would be marketing suicide if not.
It's all guesswork at this point.

No but I have less than $550 in my set up.If you count both my luggage set ups, I have less than $750 in two different set ups. One is my touring set up comprised of Givi side and rop racks, plastic medium JCW trunks used as side cases, with a large JCW trunk. My adventure set up is my large Tusk aluminum panniers and large JCW trunk. I have Hepco Becker upper tank guard and lower engine guard. They have saved my bike in what would have been a fatal drop.

This still puts me right at $6000 in my bike. I have some other farkles but I wouldn't count them as they would be owner installed even on a china bike.

My touring set up.

The Tusk panniers I have but don't currently have installed. All of my luggage is quickly removable.

The price was quoted in Euros, the rest was just me doing a currency conversion.

In the USA, your bikes seem to by priced cheaper than ours. I suspect this will be true for the RX4 as well. :)

Yep, 1cc = 1ml

I am tempted to get an RX4 but I think my RX3 could be my last bike

Perhaps once I retire, maybe. Work is killing my back, hip and knees at the moment :ohno:

ha, ah, ha :lmao: im approaching 50 and i am feeling things i haven't felt before too.

i looked at a cb500x with pics today,

will post later...filling my piehole now with a little fried yard bird.
whats your occupation that's bringing you down?

BlackBike 02-09-2017 12:11 AM

Well what a drag, ever since I had that site troubles I can no longer post my own photos.

Stopped by the corpus honda and they had a cb500x. It was a 16 for 6500.00 fit like a glove, so well put together as usual for Honda. Pulled out my mini streamlight and got the sales guy excited but no sale for this cheap bastard. Checked out the parallel twin and all the technology . I have become quite educated since I've been hanging out here. Noticed the shifter seemed small for my size 12 boot. Nothing that couldn't be adjusted I'm sure. I'm used to my tall enduro so it was like a low rider with its street tires etc, some changes ($) would be needed to take it to some of the dusty roads where the fun begins. I would definitely want to equip it with "the kit" https://www.cb500xadventure.com/
