My new ride.....
The Chinese took to long building a bike I wanted..
But this fell in my direction.... Brand new 2011 Husaberg TE125 enduro.. got it at a killer prise being 5 years old.. shop just wanted it out the door.... the next ride just won't come quick enough..... http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/.../506222056.jpg http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/.../506222082.jpg ... |
Nicely done. Are Husabergs still produced or were the absorbed by another conglomerate?
|
Looks like a lot of fun!

Is that BRAND NEW????
The Husabergs are serious badazz. Exotic offroaders. |
Pete asked:
'My prob now is.... how many bikes do I need....' If you had to ask you can't afford the answer LOL. |
Oh, mama, come to papa!!! :D:D:D
I don't know how are these very modern 125 two-strokes, but for sure they are still quite "digital" in their power delivery: nothing, nothing, bam, everything! So, be careful, as I can foresee lots of "ouch"es in the future :D |

seems no one wanted a 125 Enduro.... ... |

the last one a few year ago was a Gas Gas EC200... Even for a 125 the power is quite liner but there is still a good sized hit high up.. The power valve is tunable for the type of power delivery It will get a rekluse clutch and a fly wheel weight.. |

fyi, per google
7000 New Zealand Dollar equals
5020.75 US Dollar pete...thanks for the $. i see you're not one of the type that get offended about revealing how much they paid for stuff. i have finally learned to quit asking since it seems to be a touchy subject with some. :hmm: you've always been an no bullshit member  |
took the Berg for it's first ride....
think I have become a lazy rider since owning the TTR.... The Burg requires you to be very aggressive to make it work.. At 94kgs you can change direction at will move yer weight back it lifts the front. Yer don't have to slow down for small logs dithes etc I havn't played with the suspension yet and it just floats over anything... no jarring coming though the bars from the front end.. I did put it down... I stoped on uneven ground couldn't get a footing.. over we went... seat hight is a bit high for me... when I get the sags set it will drop 100mm when I'm seated.. rear brake has no feel.... off or locked rear wheel the motor stalls very easy...locking rear brake makes it even worse... ... |
I bet it will get better as everything brakes in.

I was running oily mix so that possably not helping the stalling.. there a couple tricks to sort the rear brake... grind grooves though the pads to reduce surface area or interduce air into the brake system. .. |
