Riding along the Mekong river...
 

Booked the air tickets a few months ago...
I just had to figger out what/where to ride this time..
I have decided to ride along the Mekong river..
The Mekong is the boarder between Thailand / Loas / Cambodia...
Thailand on one side with Loas and Cambodia on the other side..
Last time I hired a Honda CRF250L.... Going to do it a bit differently
this time around... do it on a 125cc scooter... I have a place in
Khon Kaen northern Thailand that I can keep a motor bike so I intend
to buy a new scooter either a Yamaha Mio 125 or Lexi 125 cost around
50,000 bahts.. not as much as it sounds....
I will be there for a 3 weeks... first week just getting the scoot and sorting crap out
2ns week riding .. the 3rd week back in khon Kaen for the Songkran … "Google or YouTube it"
is 3 days when the whole dam country goes mad...
Songkran can be describe one of two ways..
biggest water fight in the world or the biggest wet tee shirt contest in the world..

the trip will be about 800kms... I intend to only do around 200kms per day so
I have lots of time for detours and look around the small towns/villages I pass
thought long the side of the Mekong and stay for the night...

I do not like organised group rides... always riding someone else's ride..
