Lexmoto Assault Carb

Hi there, has anyone else got one of these models. Ive had mine for 3 weeks and just wondered why the carb hasn't got a mixture screw, just an idling screw, Phil

Not sure about the bike you have but in general, most carbs now-a-days come all sealed up and non-adjustable for EPA and/or CARB requirements. They make them super lean and then don't let you mess with them. Does it have float bowl screws? That's an indicator.

Thanks for that 2LZ. I've just had a look and there isnt any float bowl screws, Phil

You have the best looking bike of all their models which are very smart looking. lz is correct about the non a just able carbs. This trend began in the 90's here in the states with sealed up 2 stroke string trimmer carbs. Are motorcycles required to be emissions tested periodically in the uk?

Joyrider 03-23-2016 03:04 AM

Thanks for that website humanbeing, I was wondering where they originated from, looks nice in red, we over here only got a choice of black or blue. As far as I know there are no periodic checks for emissions on motorcycles as yet, Phil

According to domestic record http://www.vecc-mep.org.cn/static-we...II-113-MT1.pdf . It's a Deni (http://www.dekni.com | Keihin used had some shares https://www.keihin-corp.co.jp/english/news/pdf/ar09.pdf in o days) CPZ26 http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=40023356716

If it uses the same large diameter (6.9 mm) Keihin jets as Sheng Wey, getting them will prove to be hard and expensive.

http://www.jetsrus.com/photos/photo_..._99101_124.JPG

OVERALL LENGTH = 8.5 mm
SHAFT DIAMETER = 5.5 mm
DIAMETER OF THREAD = 6.9 mm
KEIHIN 99101-124 and 99101-ZF5

£22.5 will get you this, which uses Mikuni jets: http://www.ebay.de/itm/172125406663?...174&rmvSB=true
