Is the 2018 kymco like 200i restricted ?
 

I can only get my 2018 kymco like 200i speedometer up to 60mph, is this normal ? Is there a way to derestrict it ?

Yes and no. To pass emission to get into certain areas of the world, the bike is running very lean. A good aftermarket exhaust and air filter along with proper jetting will bring the power back. Also, adjusting the valves as they're not usually in spec from the factory. Running these engines lean for to long will cause them to burn valves and pop pistons.

Kymco model w/ i means "electronic fuel injection" ;) Unlike good old carb model u can't tune it unless rewrite data (PiTA & costs $$$) to it.
The 1st thing u can do is check the valve clearance. Next is check the belt's condition...

Some slider weights and an adjustable wind screen may get you a few more MPH.
