Apollo db35 and db36

Hello I’m new to the forum and I’m very glad that their is one for these type of bikes. My son has a 125cc and I have a 250cc and they have been very good bikes. Out of the two bikes we’ve only had one problem and it was with the 250. The gas cap would leak around the cap and no matter what I did it would not stop leaking. I wound up buying a different style tank for my bike and that is no longer a problem. The only other thing I don’t like about them is they are both super cold natured. If anyone already knows what the best carb upgrades for these bikes would be and jet size I would greatly appreciate the info. Also I don’t care about the top speed I would rather have a lot of bottom end power if anyone could tell me what sprocket I should change to and where to get it

Will the chain have to be a different one when you go to the 12t sprocket and how much difference does it make with pulling the front wheel up

Just run the adjusters back. No chain mods needed.
Mine still wont pull the front wheel good. But makes a huge difference on tight up hill trails.

Thank you I will give it a try
