Clutch Cable Adj!
I need to loose'n my clutch but the cable on the clutch handle is all the way in. When I start the bike the bike move just a taste! Now on the clutch lever on the other end on the bike I see no adj., but there is a lever with a spring on it. My question is can I take that spring off and move the lever up to I can adj. the clutch cable better? here is a pic!

is there a adjuster somewhere in the center of the cable..

I can't see where the housing for the cable stops in the picture. Is there a barrel adjuster there that you could run in a bit to loosen things up?
Does your clutch lever have adjustable reach? Like a set screw that keeps it from sitting all the way out? Usually when the reach is adjusted closer to the bar it pulls cable with it. If nothing else works a picture of the lever might help us make guesses on how to mod things a bit. |
What I had to do is remove the side panel to get to the adjuster. What a pain in the ass lol. I got the clutch to work correctly now. Thanks all.
Side note: Where can I buy another clutch cable that won't break the bank? Thanks guys! |
