Is Safer Wholesale Safe?

Has anyone here bought anything from Safer Wholesale? Did it work out for you? Every review Ive been able to find has been 100% negative. I just paid for a Storm 250 from them and am very worried. The charge hasn't gone through yet so I might be able to stop it if I move fast?
PS if this is not the right forum could a mod move this to: Dealer and Distributor Discussion? Thanks

I haven't seen anything here about safer. I'm new to China rider this year. Perhaps some vets will "phone in". I know they are from the Chicago area and I was tempted by them. I hate those floating ad things on their site. They sell everything from, a to z. You will have to really put on the full court press to get your mco from them. All retailers are like this pretty much, they just want the money but don't want the paperwork. Besides waiting for your shipment, the mco will probably be the next hurdle, I hope I'm wrong for our new members sake.

The sooner you get free from dealing with the retailer the happier you will be. And warranty issues were not even my concern...just fix it yourself and go on !

Don't worry merlin, good things come to those who wait ;)

Can you please post your Web link here to your bike?

Yep, those are nice bikes. This is represented with knob by tires, I wonder what you get? All I have seen this year have been equiped with duel tread tires.

They tell me that Ill get a 2015 model and that the pic on there site is the 2015 model. So if they send me what I ordered I should get the knobby's? At this stage I just hope I get a Storm 250 with wheels. LOL :hmm:

Curious why you chose the storm over a Hawk as the Hawk is $400 less?

To many problems getting a Hawk registered in Colorado. The Hawk was my first choice.

They are clearly a drop shipper with no actual inventory. I don't know how you paid but its mentioned all over this forum to pay for these China bikes with a credit card. Sometimes when you get no cooperation from the seller your only recourse is a credit card charge back.

Cant pay with a credit card if you dont have one and a debit card wont protect you. They have a way of getting you to pay with a echeck if you need to get a deal. I guess Iam just going to have to have some faith.

Has their been issues in Colorado? I don't remember reading any. In the end it has a LOT to do with how the bike is listed on the MSO and also the tires on it. I would check with Don at APSCUSA as i'm sure he has told me he has hawks on the road in Colorado. He also has this bike.... http://www.apscusa.com/New-2015-Stal...uro_p_627.html....

That is where I bought my Hawk from. The bike shipped from Ricky Power Sports in Dallas, TX and the shipping was billed to the seller which is also http://myscootersandatvs.com/ out of Arlington. TX.
I got a proper MCO that listed the bike as a dual sport and RPS as the brand. I had it titled, licensed and insured before I got the bike but as I have said before that is in ND.

I used paypal with my checking account to pay.

If I recall on Mychinamoto, Barnone or someone else bought an Icebear Z50 clone/sidecar combo from them with no problems, but that was a couple years ago. They have been around for a few years prior to that, so my guess is, other than possible crappy customer service, they will ship what you ordered and are not fly-by-night.

Its getting harder to get a Hawk registered in more states. I gave my county clerk all the info on the Hawk and they said I could fill out the forms but they would have to send them to Denver and the last person I know of who tried that lost out. If my bike comes in from Safer Wholesale Ill post here and probably start a build thread.
