Warn bucket kit
 

Hi W&G....as requested..here are a few pics of my Warn bucket kit. I have moved loads of top soil and clear stone with this attachment. Like the plow for snow, the bucket kit is not a toy. It does some serious work. It is raised and lowered via the winch, it can be dumped from the drivers seat and it resets to the scoop position simply by lowering it. 54 inch is pretty wide. That is compact tractor territory.

That's pretty cool! Is it difficult to release the bucket when it's heavy? Do you need to add ballast to the rear rack when pushing heavy snow?

No, the load does not impact the release. The design of the catch is perfect. It has never let go on its own and it always drops easily. For plowing I don't use any ballast or need any more traction that the 4 wheel drive offers. This is a really strong machine and with the new front mount design Warn has for the plow it can be installed or removed in 2 minutes. This thing is great.

Great. Now I need one. How am I ever gonna convince Mrs. Weldangrind?
