Site won't load currently. That site is a total disaster and I'm shocked that anyone can order anything from them ever.

It’s a bit of a nightmare if you’re not in china.

That’s not the motor in the Zongshen bikes either it’s not 380cc

Seems more a clone of the Suzuki Inazuma even than the 380 from Zongshen. Any specs of it?

Juanro 12-24-2018 07:03 AM

Ah, just saw it.

Bore x stroke 58.5X55.2mm
CC 296.7
Power/rpm 17.5KW (23.5HP) / 8000
Torque/rpm 23.5NM / 6000

So, less power than the NC250 ...

Looks like the water cooled version of the CB250 engine used in lots of Chinese bikes. I think the Hensim (Baja Phoenix) had the air cooled version of that engine. That one felt like about 12 HP.

I think that's a different engine, a mono cylinder. This is a twin.

I wonder what the keel on bottom of engine is used for behind the oil filter in last pic above?
The hard part with any engine swap is getting all the pieces for it to run, like carbs or FI, all electrics , coils, exhaust , air cleaner, etc. rj

The "Keel" is an oil sump, this version is for quads and utility trikes.

Bottom line, this entire thread does not belong on the RX3 section.
