RX3 on Motorcycle.com again!
Another video and article about the RX3 in 'mainstream' motorcycle media/webpage.
It's a good and interesting view/read. The RX3 is here to stay, and I predict will be improved even further in the future, hopefully based on input from forums like this :-) http://www.motorcycle.com/features/w...t-terrain.html |

Judging by the excitement for the new Versys 300 and the Vstrom 250 (much less so), should be time for the RX3 to really shine. Its a developing sub-sub segment of motorcycling; the ADV segment, the high dollar bikes, the big bikes, the thumpers, and "ADV-Lite" category. I still believe the RX3 gives a ton of bang for the buck, especially compared the the Versys, when you look at the prices for the cases, racks, etc.

Went for a Toys For Tots ride on Saturday, 26 F and snow. The little bike handled the rough coal mine terrain well, just needed to take it a bit easy during a couple bunny hops over fallen trees and giving the suspension a break over the rocks and ice. I will be taking Spuds lead and lacing up a 21" front hoop. |

Glad you did ok in the snow. My experience is that if the tires can get through the snow to the dirt it's good to go. Also dry powdery snow is ok. Mushy snow I'm stopped in my tracks. |

Most of my riding is very local (my commute and weekend fun) but when family and time permits I want to go across to Philly or New Jersey and make a few days of it. |
