Honda XR250R frame

Since I picked up this rolling frame I've been trying to decide what to do with it. Sell it and hopefully make my money back on the cheap go cart frames I originally purchased or see what else I could use it for in the future. I looked at swapping in a Chinese engine but didn't see anything on current motor compatibility, not that I was expecting any to bolt in. I've seen older threads on it so I know something could be done with time. Anyone have any opinion on it or suggestion for something suitable?

You have a clean slate there, so going nuts is an option. But, IMO, pick which kart you really want to build up then sell the other two and the Honda to help finance it.

If going crazy is an option, here's an idea for you:

I was thinking about doing something like this, but I don't have a frame I can use. I'm just about done putting the '74 Honda CB back together, and I really don't want to cut up the frame for the '72 CL, since they're so rare, and I have all the parts to put it back together. Let us know what you decide to do!

That's a perfect inexpensive trail bike. Now you're putting ideas in my head. :ohno:

I was thinking of something like this the other day. Will have to keep this in mind for a backup plan. I've put the frame up for sale and if I don't get any hits on it in the next few weeks then that will probably be what I do with it. This is a cheaper option than the ebay Lifan motor I had seen.
ebay motor

I have looked at that, but the cost is going to be a bit more than I would want to spend if I keep it at this point. If I still have it later on then that may be what I do with it.

Wow, that's pretty impressive.

Ended up selling it and was lucky enough to make a little more from it than what I paid for the lot I bought it in so it's a good deal. I liked all the helpful suggestions.
