CSC $1,000 price reduction
The Haylon is being offered with a discount of $1,000 but will not ship. It must be picked up at store.

Dang..... That may be worth the drive from Volcano. Mrs. 2LZ is nosing around for something. Even with her RX3 lowered, it's still too tall for her to be comfy.

If I didn't already have a fleet I would really consider it as well. Not sure how many are available for this deal so if you're interested maybe call them.

Great scoop.
The $1,000 would pay for a little road trip from Houston. -I remember my first Christmas in Southern California. Went to a pool party. |
I am wondering why they will not ship?
CSC does not have free shipping they charge for that, and the $1000 discount brings the cost of that specific bike down to what the European market pays for it. And they will still tack their $400 dealer prep fee and their other add on fees on when you pick it up. This deal just highlights the fact that the California in CSC is still a long way away. |
Maybe they won't ship because already assembled?

I wonder if they're having a hard time selling the Hayalon. There are a lot of bikes that compete directly with it. Not so much with the SG400, which has a retro niche and a price that is quite competitive compared to Triumph, Kawasaki (W800/KZ replica), and even Royal Enfield.
Personally if I was in the market for a low displacement naked, trellis-framed, italian-looking machine... I'd get a Benelli 302S. But then, I had the opportunity to ride the predecessor, the TNT300, and I thought it was great. With more displacement, more power, and better tires the 302S fixed everything I thought could be a little better on the TNT300. I still kinda want to snag one and get the SHAD bags for it and build it into a sport-tourer, but I've got too many bikes in the garage as it is. Charles. |
