Venom Motorsports

Order was placed on March 28. The next day during their pre- delivery inspection they noticed some damage to the bike and they had no more of the color I picked. After explaining the situation and asking me to choose a new color my bike was sent out the same day. April 4 I got a call from RL Carriers. They didn't feel comfortable stopping on my road to unload the crate (it really isn't a safe place to unload at due to being a high traffic, high speed rural area and being 3/4 of the way up a hill). He unloaded at one of his usual stops and they loaded it in my pickup later.
Back to Venom. I chose the 80% assembly option. The bike arrived with all assembled bolts marked and pretorqued. Everything that should be greased was and had plenty of it. The Xpect 200 came with an NGK DR8EA preinstalled with a .020 gap and the valves needed adjusted. There was absolutely no damage to anything, everything was very well packed and protected and nothing was missing. The title and bill of sale were in the crate. Overall I give them a 10/10 and will 100% buy from them again next time I need a new bike.

Congratulations on the new bike! That is the reason I keep going back to Venom. Great bunch of people there that do what they say they will do.

I love it. It's a little slower than the last bike I had 10 years ago but that's ok. I couldn't ask for it to be any better. Maybe it's just me but it feels like it has more low end power than the xr200r and the several 250 big reds I had over the years.

I have always had good dealings with Venom. Might buy one of the X-Pect 200's too if it gets a good rating. I need a dual sport for the mountains of WNC.

I'm a firm believer in the hard break in process. I'm sitting at 167 miles as of this post and I believe it is finished. It has picked up a few more mph on the topend and the exhaust is good and throaty instead of sounding like puffs of air at any rpm. Even with a 17 tooth front sprocket it has no problem reaching its top speed, I'd advise leaving the 15 in though for hills and stuff. If you live near the tail of the dragon I'd advise street only tires and keep the revs up. The stock ones are ok but not real grippy. That road is FUNNN on a sportbike.
