Old biker seeks engine ID help...

I'm a 50+ gearhead. I recently bought a thrashed enduro, missing ALL of the plastic, trashed rear wheel, and many unneccessary parts broken/missing. I cleaned the carb, hooked up a good battery, and got it started. Definitely has a badly blown head gasket. The numbers on the case are: 156FM1 and *2003001872* I'm just needing to ID the motor and order the correct head gasket from a reliable source. I've spent enough lurking time on here to know that it's a 125 to 200 cc motor, but I'd like to pin it down, have some reference source, and know what quirks to deal with. I plan on making it a purely off-road play bike, something that my fiance can get on to get better familiarized with riding. Thanks for listening. ~Geoff

Welcome. I like that is a 150cc model.

Displacement???

Thanks for the welcome. Hmmm... I was told that the 1st 2 numbers of the motor code (156FM1) was the bore, and the 1 (or l) denoted that it was a 125cc. I'd sure rather it be a 150cc, but 'til I tear it down, I guess there's no way to REALLY know. ~Geoff
