EGL Dealer near west coast
Searched through this forum, mostly saw comments about east coast locations.
Who's a good dealer to go through for an EGL or Trailmaster for the larger 300 bikes? I'm in Vegas. Thanks |
The dealer/importer is located on the east coast. You will probably only find them through online dealers. I notice a few of the "Manny" owned dealers carry them but would avoid them at all means. I won't even post a link for them.
Family Go Karts carries the Trailmaster https://www.familygokarts.com/shop/m.../tm-tm38-green |
So are you saying Family go karts is a reputable vendor?
Really was wanting a EGL A17, too bad no safe place to buy from. |
I haven't heard anything bad about them but sure someone will chime in if they had a bad experience. The "Manny" companies like TX powersports, Arlington Powersports and few other Texas companies he owns do have a bad rap. Some members on here had no issues but that's probably because they didn't have to deal with him when there was an issue.

ok, Thanks Jerry.

EGL Dealer in Idaho
I've been to this dealership and it looks like they do alot of EGL sales. They sell a few different chinese brands and sell all their bikes assembled with what they feel are necessary upgrades. I would give them a call.

Another dealer would be GoKart USA. https://gokartsusa.com/300cc-dirt-bikes.aspx

Was looking at Go karts USA but saw a lot of terrible reviews on them.

These guys have been around for many years, and the store used to be located in Arizona, but now appears to be in Texas. Hopefully not a 'Manny' store. The only thing I recall being 'bad' about them was several years ago it took a while for people to get the MCO in order to street register their bikes. But, since then, I have not seen really anyone posting about using them. They carry the Trailmaster bikes, not EGL.

I went by Suicycle Racing and they have the EGL 300 and 450 in stock. The 300 starts at $5000 and they can do customizations including putting light kits on to make them street legal. (if your state allows it). I think the 450 is around $6000. They also have some KPX 250's in stock for $4000 assembled! Just a couple of weeks ago they were selling for $3500, so Venom has a pretty good deal going.
I took this from one of their listings on Craigslist. The only 450 EGL motorcycles in the Northwest. Stock both EGL 300 models ( XC forged alloy type frame and the CRF 250 Type alloy perimeter frame) The only 450 and 300 with a CRF 250 type frame. The 300 comes with desert tank or stock tank All Honda 2014 crf 250 plastic fit perimeter frame and the Xc frame uses KTM plastic. 450 and 300 use KTM oil filters and air filters. NC 450 and 300 similar to 2012 KTM engine with rocker arm adjusters. Electric starter motor uses clutch basket to turn over like a Honda crfx. Why buy from Father and Son? 1. Every motorcycle needs to have valves adjusted before sold without exception. Included 2. We adjust them. 3. The EGL 300 needs a new performance power-jet carburetor to perform at its best. Included 4. Every EGL motorcycle has a new ORING chain installed. Included 5. Every EGL 450 and 300 needs an upgraded dual foam air cleaner. Included 6. Every EGL can be made street legal with our kit. Optional installed 7. Every EGL comes with the 1st service free parts and labor. 8. Every EGL has an engine hour clock. Included 9. Every EGL has maxima engine oil Included 10. Every EGL has speedometer and odometer 11. Every EGL has a temperature radiator cap for 450 and 300 12. Every EGL spark arrest-or high flow exhaust 13. Every EGL has a re-jetted or fined tuned carburetor included 14. Every EGL we sell will out perform any other EGL dealership. 15. We upgrade all the e commerce or discount stores that attempt to sell EGL because they do not have the expertise to the right PDI service. 16. EGL CALLS US FOR CUSTOMIZATION, UPGRADES, SPECIAL APPLICATIONS. 17. SHOWA CRF-X TYPE PLUSH SUSPENSION 18. NC 450 and 300 motor are torque, with a 3/4 hit that pulls. The 450 will turn out 50 hp with a simple 40mm Mukuni Race carburetor and the 300 35 hp with our power-jet carburetor THESE MOTORCYCLES DESIGNED and COMPETITIVELY USED FROM Australia, Africa TO Asia. |
I visited the website, very confusing, no where to see inventory or pricing. Looks like they do provide a phone number and links to other confusing sites. All the pics they provide look like they are taken in a foreign country not their location here in the states.
|
Yeah their website is pointless, thats why I didn't post the link. I did confirm they have the bike you are looking for.
|
I think they may have the bikes in stock as well in Meridian, Idaho
