interesting....
looks like the 660 motor isn't going out of production
now Yamaha have replaced it with the MT07 motor in the Tenere...
the XR copy looks like a pretty good copy.. from the out
side anyway...

I have heard that the engine is produced by ShineRay. Not many details available.

Right in the article it's stated that it's a Shineray engine.

On mychinamoto.com there was talk about the X5 from Shineray. It seems the problem with the company is they are hard to deal with. Many members on mychinamoto are ex pats from Europe dealing in mtg. Some in motorsports. They have reported difficulties trying to deal with them. The best person to ask would be 'Englishman in China' aka David McMillan who posts his magazine every month.
